About Us

Pet Parents Place, LLC (P3) is a humanitarian-based company dedicated to connecting the current parents of adopted or rescued pets of all kinds; dogs, cats, horses, birds, etc. with the previous owners or fosters at no cost to the member.  All profits will be donated to rescue organizations.

P3 owner and CEO, Connie Bekavac created this company after years of adopting older dogs and cats and wondering why they had ever been available for adoption.  Had the family lost their home and had to give the pet up?  Had someone become ill and not able to take care of the pet anymore?  Had the pet just been lost and never found by its owner?  Whatever the reason, there was probably someone out there with a broken heart wondering what had ever happened to the pet they loved so dearly.  The purpose of this company is to mend those broken hearts and answer questions of the past and previous pet parents of rescue pets.

Shiloh’s Story

Shiloh was a rescue from a high-kill shelter in North Carolina. We adopted her in May of 2011 from a local rescue group when she was about eight months old.

Shiloh was a rescue from a high-kill shelter in North Carolina. Connie adopted her in May of 2011 from a local rescue group when she was about eight months old. She’d been spayed and had her shots, and for whatever reason, her long coat was full of finishing nails. Our hypothesis about that was that while she was on the lam she found shelter in a new home or something that was being built. To satisfy our curiosity and find out if she had a breed in her that might have medical issues to watch out for, Connie had her DNA done and her major breeds are Golden Retriever, Border Collie and yes, Lhasa Apso.
