HOW TO GIVE YOUR PUPPY A BATH

Let’s face it: Sometimes puppies smell great. Especially that very new puppy smell, it’s pretty compelling. But then sometimes puppies are not full of great smells, and sometimes they just get dirty and gross. And when that happens, puppies need to get clean—they need a bath.

But bathing a puppy can be an intimidating thing to consider. How do you do it so that they take the process well, you don’t make a mess, you don’t get drenched, and they get clean? It’s a recipe for hilarity or disaster, that’s for sure.

There are a couple of things to be aware of. One thing is that puppies have to be of a certain age in order to get a bath—probably at least about a month old. And the shorter and more positive you can make a bath the better. What else do you need to do? This graphic explains it.
