Our followers continue to be generous enough to share their rescue stories with us.  And we love it!  Here is a story about a woman who had her eyes on another cat at the rescue shelter.  But for reasons she shares, she selected Brooklyn.

BROOKLYN’S LONG STAY AT THE RESCUE SHELTER TUGGED AT PET PARENTS’ HEART

We found Brooklyn at a rescue place.  I had my eyes on another cat.  But after hearing that Brooklyn had been at the shelter for two years and was five years old, it tugged at our heartstrings.  We decided that even though she wasn’t very cute and her disposition left a ton to be desired; we took her home.

YEARS TO RETURN AFFECTION

It took almost 2 years for her to show or return affection or welcome cuddles.  But it was worth the wait.

And, yes, we think she is very cute!!
